Ardent Credit Union pushes itself to deliver the innovative, affordable banking its members need and deserve. They do not settle for average, and will not stop at “not bad.” Ardent is building a reputation for showing up, helping, and getting things done.

As interim Creative Director, I led a comprehensive refresh of the brand’s visual and digital identity. What began as a request to “eyeball” their existing digital marketing creative for ways to improve impact and response quickly evolved into a full‑scale initiative. I directed the creation of a new brand guideline book, establishing a cohesive design language that included updated typography, a refined color system, and a modernized visual identity.

This work extended across ads, banners, and social assets, ensuring consistency and clarity in every touchpoint. The initiative also aligned with Ardent’s Villanova athletic sponsorships and NIL athlete partnerships, where we developed branded creative that connected the credit union to the energy of collegiate sports. By integrating sponsorship assets and athlete‑driven content into the broader campaign system, we reinforced Ardent’s presence in the community and strengthened its appeal to younger audiences.

The result was a fresh, evolutionary spin on Ardent’s brand — one that balanced continuity with innovation, and gave the credit union a stronger, more distinctive voice in the marketplace. This is part of an ongoing initiative to develop a new design language that positions Ardent Credit Union as a forward‑thinking financial institution, authentically connected to both its members and its community partnerships.
