With the call to action, “See why we’re a bank worth knowing,” Meridian Bank set out to demonstrate its commitment to people’s financial wellbeing through knowledgeable team members, valuable products and services, strong ties to the community, and innovative technology that connects customers to their money wherever they work and live.

As Digital Creative Director, I led the strategic planning and design of a comprehensive brand and digital refresh. Meridian was looking not only to redevelop its portfolio of websites but to reimagine its entire brand identity from the ground up. I directed the creation of a brand guideline and digital plan spanning over 100 pages, establishing a modernized color system, typography, imagery standards, and a unified design language. This extensive framework became the foundation for every aspect of the brand’s evolution, ensuring consistency across digital, print, advertising, and environmental applications.

I oversaw the redevelopment of Meridian’s family of websites, designing new online destinations that communicated the bank’s renewed commitment to retail banking and personalized solutions tailored to the unique needs of consumers. Each site was built to be responsive, intuitive, and visually aligned with the refreshed brand system, reinforcing accessibility and trust while showcasing Meridian’s innovative technology.

This initiative extended across ads, banners, and social assets, creating a cohesive, future‑ready design language that elevated the bank’s presence in the marketplace. The result was a brand transformation that balanced strategic clarity with creative innovation, positioning Meridian Bank as a forward‑thinking institution with a strong, approachable identity and a design system built to scale.
